Xbox Debug Kit

The Xbox Debug Kit was perhaps one of the most common of the development tools for Microsoft’s Xbox. It lacked the additional hardware of the full Xbox Development Kit, but still had 128mb of ram like its larger and more expensive brother, plus it ran the Developer Dashboard. Being that it was cheaper, it was easier to deploy where needed, often finding a home in QA departments, and even magazine review companies, due to the unique ability to take direct screenshots and run preview code. Plus, it had a snazzy green case, which was pretty rare until the later Limited Editions (bar the Signature Edition available to Microsoft employees, but that is another box for another day).
